The kernel has had a pd-mapper implementation for quite some time now. We switched all remaining users of the userspace pd-mapper daemon to the in-kernel implementation.
This might cause issues because of behaviour changes between both implementations. If your device package is not upstreamed in postmarketOS, you may have to manually remove pd-mapper from depends in your device package's APKBUILD and enable CONFIG_QCOM_PD_MAPPER in your kernel config.
