The msm-modem package is being moved from postmarketOS pmaports repository to upstream Alpine's aports repository. It had been removed in postmarketOS already before the Alpine package was built.
Upgrading with the -a option resulted in the removal of the msm-modem-systemd package, causing Qualcomm devices with postmarketOS systemd installs on the edge release channel to stop detecting SIM cards after reboot.
In the meantime the package has been added back to postmarketOS and will only be removed after the package has been built in Alpine to ensure this goes smoothly next time.
